Compliance Vote on Program Manual
It was adopted from the BBBS Central Ohio Program Policy Manual, which was approved by their BOD in October 2022 to reflect updated policies in the 2023 BBBS Standards of Practice (available here as a reference). The only changes to the content of the document was replacing the agency name, and removing the BBBSCO Agency History section.
BBBSCO’s VP of Programs, Abby Fisher, led the due diligence process to update the policy document to align with the new 2023 Standards of Practice. Her team attended the BBBSA Standards of Practice Taskforce meetings and sessions to the BBBSA National Conference related to the Standards updates. They then analyzed all existing program policies to identify and prioritize changes to related program procedures, reviewed with the BBBSCO Program Committee, and presented for a vote to the full Board.
This vote is a Compliance Requirement to update policies, and Timika is leading updates to program procedures to align with the updated standards.
Will include board training requirements which will be rolling out in March 2023.
